This was what I was doing the other day while listening to Diana Krall! Inspired by an illustration I saw.

 

This past week, I've been listening to Diana Krall every night. Once night, I heard Diana Krall's voice on jazz fm, and that probably triggered me to look for more of her songs. Another reason is the change in the temperature. I think this autumn weather is definitely affecting me. Oh well. I love jazz, and it goes so well with the season. I have a feeling that I'm going to say the same thing in winter, but it's true! Jazz goes so well, four seasons long!

What I do is just playing the whole album on Youtube. I haven't listened to all of her albums - the reason for this might be because I'm listening to the same album over and over again. The album I like is called "The Look of Love" from 2001. I can't pick a favourite song from this album, but there was a song that caught my attention, and it is "Love Letters." I especially love the part that goes "I memorize every line, I kiss the name that you sign, and darling, then I read again, right from the start." It reminded me of the time when I received a love letter from someone special. I remember doing the exact same thing as what Diana sings. Although it happened a long time ago, it brought joy in my heart just reminiscing the moment when I received a love letter.

Will I receive a love letter this fall? Hmm, we'll see! But, I'm planning to send one to someone! Anyways, here is "Love Letters" by Diana Krall. Enjoy!
