no.88 130727 Thank you for a whole day of Mexico preparation

From yesterday's visit to Baldwin St. (or Ave?) for lunch
I had a really long day. I got home really late last night, and I had to get up early so I only got about four hours of sleep. So tiring... I had to be at church by quarter to 9am for our team's tools training for construction. It was very important information especially because it will be first time building a house in Mexico. So I tried my best to absorb everything that I learned but it was just beyond my brain capacity... pretty much everything was new to me. I'm trying to recall a few 'construction words' that I learned today. Ummmm... yeah... I know how to cut a dry wall, and drill into the metal beam things... I'm gonna need a lot of help!! I just don't want to make a mistake because its for people in Mexico. I want them to feel safe in their new home. I want to create a safe shelter for them, so there is no room for a single mistake!!!

After tools training, we moved on to our skits and praise practice. All of us agreed that we are pretty good with the praises but we are not as confident with the skits. We're probably going to practice more whenever we have the chance. Our team will be meeting at church tomorrow night, probably around this time tomorrow I'll be at church. Because our flight is so early in the morning on Monday (around 6AM), we'll all be staying over at church and leave together.

Although it seemed like a super long day, I'm thankful that we got everything done! It's D-2!!!! I'm still not done packing... I would take a photo of my room right now to show how messy it is, but I will be too embarrassed! I need to get back to packing but I might just leave it until tomorrow. It's not because I'm lazy! I'm just so sleepy and I need to finish something before going to bed. Good night!
