I enjoy listening to friends' stories. Whether it's a happy one or a stressful one - I like to attentively listen to them. I wouldn't say I'm the best listener, because sometimes I tend to lose focus, or I try to think about ways to help or encourage them as I listen to their story. But I think for the most part, I'm relatively a good listener.

I'm thankful to have friends who share their good and bad stories with me. I'm especially thankful for a friend who told me about a stressful event that occurred today. I'm thankful for my listening ears, and that I was able to encourage her through her hard times.
