Thanks girls for helping me organize it!

Lately, God has been revealing a lot about love to me. I'm not talking about romantic love, but about agape love, and how I should display this love to others.

You've probably heard of four loves - agape (God's love = the unconditional love), eros (romantic), phileo (friendship) and storge (family). I want to talk about agape love and how we need to have and understand the meaning of it before we truly love your spouse, friends and family. I don't have much time today, so I will save this topic for another time.

When I had my quiet time with God this morning, He gave me another message about love. Before I did anything, I prayed that I would consciously think about God's love for me and that I would be able to share the love to others today.

I threw a baby shower for a friend of mine today. I'm thankful for a great turnout. I'm also happy because everyone told me that they enjoyed it and that I did a good job organizing it! I'm so glad I had the opportunity to do this for my friend, and indeed, it was a way of expressing my phileo for her! Mission accomplished.
