no.2 130502 Thank you for this Spring

Spring is the season of new life. Leaves budding, flowers blooming and birds singing - everything reminds us that spring is indeed in the air! I am enjoying the warm sunny days as well as rainy days (occasionally). I am thankful for this beautiful season more than ever because we had a long winter in Toronto. And for some reason, the past winter seemed much longer and colder than any other winters (I probably said this last year, and the year before).

Recently, I met someone whose name translates to 'a thousand springs.' She told me it means a good luck since it's a blessing to see spring after cold Winter days. It made sense to me because I always look forward to this season of love, especially after the endless dreary winter here. It certainly is a blessing to see thousand springs! The next morning I thanked God for the number of Springs I got to experience in the past. I don't know how many more blossoming magnolias I'll get to see, but I got to see this year's. And I'm thankful for that!
